- Safety first- Kindly do not leave your candle lit and unattended for long hours. Always make room for your candle, Never burn a candle around anything that could catch fire. Keep them on a heat resistant surface as the jars could get really hot upon lighting.
- How to avoid candle tunnelling - Burn your candle for a minimum of 2 hours each time you light it. The wax has to melt all the way to the edge of the jar at an even depth across the top before you blow it out. Has to be followed the first few times you burn your candle as you will create a wax memory which the candle will follow on future burns and you wouldn't want sink holes.
- Always trim your wick before each burn, If you sense smoke, Blow out the candle and note that the wick needs trimming before you light it again. Do not trim the wick too short as that will cause tunnelling, We do not want that either. make sure that the wick is half a centimetre above the wax surface
- Always place a lid on the candle when not in use. Once the candle is extinguished, use warm water to cleanse and remove any wax residue.
